Whatβs new in TidyHQ, September 2026
πΈ Sorting and Filtering for Transactions
Finances has had its fresh coat of paint, and Transactions now has filters! Options include category, currency, income or expense, reconciliation status, dates and contacts, and the reference.
Weβve also made the table easier to use: sorting and pagination stay in sync with your filters, totals show currency where it matters, and CSV exports retain the same filtering context. It is a more reliable way to find the financial information you need.

Finances Report with filter based on category.
In the finances report you should be able to click on say membership category and it gives you a list of who has paid what instead of a full total that month or year. I would like to run reports where you could click on a category like apparel and see all the broken up payments and dates things were paid instead of going through the whole invoices pages looking for payments which can take up time.

Ability to search finances
A search box that I can search for transaction ID, transaction name. Similar to the 'Ability to search emails' request, currently it requires either exporting a CSV and manipulating it in MS Excel or using the browser search/find functionality to find transaction(s) that match what you're looking for. Ideally, we have a search box in the transaction area (similar to your online banking transactions that we could use (together with some additional search filters).

π° Xero integration now available on Pro Plan
When money via Stripe lands in your bank account, how much of that was for memberships, how much for events... and how much is taxable? That's what our Xero integration aims to answer, by matching up TidyHQ Finance Categories with your Xero Chart of Accounts.
It's now available self-serve on the Pro Plan, but places are limited so get in quick!

π Event Analytics
Attendance, ticket sales and revenue are now available in a cross-event view, with useful measures such as returning attendees, repeat buyers and scan-in rates.
Find it in Events > Analytics.

ποΈ Find contacts by the Events they attended
The automatic Groups created from Events now include the attendees as well as the buyers. (Thanks to everyone who confirmed this would be the right change to make!)
Contacts filters can now distinguish between people who bought an Event ticket and the people actually assigned to attend. This also works for Events shared into your organisation, while respecting ticket restrictions.

π Better Sharing in Storage
Files in Storage can now instead be a link. This helps centralise shared resources when they're already hosted elsewhere.
𧩠TidyConnect: When a peak body shares folders in its its Storage, its local organisations can now see Storage in their sidebar too even when they don't technically have the Storage app installed.
π Many more Social Links
You can now add more social links to your organisation settings, including WhatsApp and Discord, for a total of 36 different links in your public footer of your website.

π Fixes
- Membership-level renewal and expiry messages, plus custom-field choice names, now show a helpful validation error when text is too long instead of failing to save.
- Contact imports now assign contact reference numbers more reliably, even when other activity is updating the counter at the same time.
- Stale membership-renewal links now redirect safely instead of leading to a broken page.
- In the Bring Your Own Domain app, public subdomain setup now gives clearer warnings when DNS delegation needs attention.
- Newly published parent-organisation announcements can now be delivered to child organisations.
- Public pages now ignore malformed redirect details safely.
- Browsers with malformed cookie data no longer cause a failed request.
- Token-information requests now respond safely when no one is signed in.
- Saving a Page or Event now waits for its header image upload to finish, so a new image is not lost midway through.
- Membership orders now show a clear validation message for an invalid due date, instead of failing while creating the invoice.
- Invoice emails now continue to send when Dropbox temporarily rate-limits an invoice backup.
- Simultaneous bounce notifications from our email provider now process reliably.
As always, your feedback helps us choose what to improve next. Thanks for sharing what is, and is not, making committee life easier.
