  1. Discount Codes โ€ข Events, Shop, Memberships

Allow for discount codes to be handed out and used to discount some items for event tickets, memberships or shop items. Apply a promotion code: Give your customers a discount by pre-applying a promotion code. If the promo code expires, the payment link will keep working without the discount.

  2. Tidy Integration with Square Payment Gateway and POS

We're proposing a new feature integration with Square payment gateway and Point of Sales (POS) system for Tidy. This would allow for seamless transactions and contact synchronisation, enhancing our operational efficiency and overall customer experience. Key Considerations: Transaction Sync: We aim to introduce real-time synchronization of transactions between Tidy and Square, contributing to better accuracy and effectiveness. Contact Sync: Matching transactions with contacts where possible will enable us to generate comprehensive customer profiles and strategize follow-up activities accordingly. Advanced CRM to POS Synergy: By aligning the integration with advanced CRM to POS dynamics (akin to platforms like Xero), we'll be able to deliver a superior user experience. Creation of Payment Logs: We plan to maintain detailed logs for each transaction. This addition will serve as a valuable tool for troubleshooting and auditing. Inventory Sync: To prevent resource mismanagement, we aim to sync inventories real-time between the two platforms. Subscription Management: We'll develop robust mechanisms for managing subscriptions, notably revolving around setup, recurring billing, and cancellations. Refund and Dispute Handling: Clear and firm protocols for managing refunds and disputes will be established, ensuring a smooth potential-issue resolution. Offline Mode: In case of offline services on Square or Tidy, our system will be designed to manage and sync once the connection is restored. Tax Compliance: Given varying regional taxation rules, our integration will adeptly handle differences and accurately apply the correct tax amounts. This feature integration promises to streamline operations, provide better financial visibility, and elevate our customer relationship management. We appreciate your ideas and feedback on this proposed addition!

  3. Ability to search emails

There isn't an easy way in the interface to search for a specific email or subject or text within the email. The best you can do is use the CMD+F browser find/search functionality but this often isn't useful if you have pages of emails or years of history. Example being with a club who had to find all correspondence to do with a specific member and spent quite a few hours going through everything page by page.

  4. Ability to manually checkout a shop item that was paid for in cash.

We often get people coming to the clubhouse and buying a piece of merchandise over the bar/counter. We want to be able to manually record a purchase (like we do with event tickets).

  5. Add Event tickets to Apple/Google Wallet

It would improve ticket management for events and make life simpler for our volunteers if tickets bought through TidyHQ could be added to Apple or Google Wallet.

  6. Ticket cancellation option

Currently, there is no way for members/guests to cancel their own tickets. We realise that there are significant complications in cancelling tickets where fees have been paid, but would it be possible to allow logged-in contacts to cancel their own tickets where no fee had been paid.

  7. Preview mode for Memberships

When setting up memberships for the first time you don't necessarily have Stripe set up yet, so the membership is hidden. It'd also be nice to be able to run through the membership flow including checkout, for assurance.

  8. More public website customisation options

We're evaluating the platform for our car club and one of the key things we need is a public facing website. The THQ pages do the job functionally, but there seem to be very limited options for styling. e.g. background colour or image, custom CSS (e.g. fonts) It would also be handy to enable custom headers so we can enable things like Google Analytics. I understand that the web page function is probably not "core capability" for the platform, but an easy to maintain site is something our club really needs.

  9. Ability to reduce/waive membership fees

When transferring a group of members to a new level, it's often advisable to temporarily zero out the fee for the level so as to not create extra payment records. That's OK for a one-off bulk action, but it's less OK for occasional waiver of fees or individual transfers. What this could look like: in the New Membership flow, you'd have an extra field "discount payment by $amount" (entirely free memberships can take a payment type of "Other").

  10. Member resignation / standing status field

Currently the system only has active/expired status, with no way to mark a member as resigned (as distinct from lapsed). This conflates resigned members with genuinely lapsed members, skewing churn statistics and making outreach lists inaccurate. A native 'Standing' or 'Membership Status' field with options such as Resigned, Deceased, Terminated, and Other would let clubs exclude resigned members from lapsed outreach and produce accurate board reports. Workaround exists (custom dropdown field + smart group) but a built-in solution is needed.

  11. Bundled Event Ticket Sales

Introduce functionality within TidyHQ Events that allows organisers to sell a bundle of individual event tickets for a single, discounted package price. Suggested Functionality: Event organisers could create a ticket package that includes admission to multiple separately listed events, with the following capabilities: Bundle Configuration: Select multiple existing event tickets and combine them into one package.Package Pricing: Set a single price for the entire bundle, rather than charging the combined individual ticket prices.Individual Ticket Generation: Upon purchase, automatically generate separate tickets for each included event, each with its own QR code. Capacity Management: Automatically adjust ticket availability for each included event when a bundle is purchased.Reporting: Record the package sale while maintaining accurate attendance and ticket allocation records for each event.

  12. Agenda items changing location in the printed version

When a meeting agenda is created from a template and an agenda item has to be moved to a different location, it some times reverts to it's original location when the agenda is printed even though when looking live in Tidy HQ it appears in the correct location. It would be great if printed versions always correctly reflected all changes made to the agenda.

  13. Photo Gallery Option - Page

Being able to upload bulk photos to a Gallery or slideshow would be great rather than having to add each one as an image to a webpage

  14. Separate/Private Inboxes for Each Role

"Our organisation is large and we deal with a number of commercial clients. We need separate or private inboxes for roles in our organisation as much of the communication that we send or receive in these roles is private or confidential information and thus cannot be shared with the entire committee. Private Inboxes are very hard because of the nature of a committee and the handover required. Outlining how the eventual handover could happen for your organisation is critical for us to know and build out a great solution for you. Please add your comments and scenario below for handover etc

  15. 'Or; filter

Advanced filtering needs an 'or' option. Filter X OR Y OR Z etc etc. Can't believe it is not part of the product.
