  1. Integrating Smartwaiver directly into the membership application and events

By integrating a waiver program directly into the events and membership, people will be forced to physically sign the waiver before they can move forward. This would make our insurance coverage valid. People have a hard time going to another website to do something like signing a waiver, which we require.

  2. 'Or; filter

Advanced filtering needs an 'or' option. Filter X OR Y OR Z etc etc. Can't believe it is not part of the product.

  3. Have TidyHQ & Stripe Fees Show as Expense

For the Finance pages to be really useable the income should be listed as what is charged to the members etc. and the TidyHQ Fee & Stripe (or other) transaction fees should list as an expense. - I understand why this is not done currently but it is not correct from a reporting point of view.

  4. A global shopping cart - the ability to buy shop items with memberships or events

In the one checkout buy a membership or an event ticket and a shop item like a t-shirt

  5. Blog / News articles

Similar to events it would be good if you could publish news articles to the home page so that they are easily seen and this accessed by members. It's quite common for websites to have a unified place for blogs or posts, which also stores past page archives. With this feature, we could share past-event recaps directly on our website instead of using external platforms like Facebook. At present, we can only edit past events, which is not the most effective solution. Having a centralized feed for blogs, events, and similar content would be highly beneficial.

  6. Renewal of rolling membership should be based on expiry date, not payment date

I have discovered that Rolling membership renewal date is based on payment date, not expiry date of subscription. This means early payers are penalised by having a shortened membership and late payers are rewarded by an extended membership. If renewal of membership is within the set time for renewal to be allowed then the membership should run from expiry date. Our constitution allows for 5 months non-payment before a member loses membership of the society

  7. moving members from 1 event to another

We offer multiple week long camps in the summer. Often families who sign up for one camp week have their plans change, and would like to move their registration from one week to another. Currently, we are only able to do that by registering the child for the new week through the admin side, and then deleting their ticket in the first event. It would be nice if we could simply transfer their information from the first event to the new event, without having to write down their information, and re enter in the new event - would be a real time saver! If there is another way to do this, I have been unable to find it?

  8. More sophisticated lifecycle messages

Right now, you can send the same message before/after expiry, up to three times. But it's the same message each time. Ideally, you'd be able to vary this.

  9. Disable email notifications to members for membership payment success

We've noted the membership payment success emails are a source of annoyance to members. It would be useful to our members and committee if they were only notified when payment fails and subsequently where action needed to be taken. Where invoice/record of the transaction is available from the online portal. Thanks!

  10. Member resignation / standing status field

Currently the system only has active/expired status, with no way to mark a member as resigned (as distinct from lapsed). This conflates resigned members with genuinely lapsed members, skewing churn statistics and making outreach lists inaccurate. A native 'Standing' or 'Membership Status' field with options such as Resigned, Deceased, Terminated, and Other would let clubs exclude resigned members from lapsed outreach and produce accurate board reports. Workaround exists (custom dropdown field + smart group) but a built-in solution is needed.

  11. Tidy Integration with Square Payment Gateway and POS

We're proposing a new feature integration with Square payment gateway and Point of Sales (POS) system for Tidy. This would allow for seamless transactions and contact synchronisation, enhancing our operational efficiency and overall customer experience. Key Considerations: Transaction Sync: We aim to introduce real-time synchronization of transactions between Tidy and Square, contributing to better accuracy and effectiveness. Contact Sync: Matching transactions with contacts where possible will enable us to generate comprehensive customer profiles and strategize follow-up activities accordingly. Advanced CRM to POS Synergy: By aligning the integration with advanced CRM to POS dynamics (akin to platforms like Xero), we'll be able to deliver a superior user experience. Creation of Payment Logs: We plan to maintain detailed logs for each transaction. This addition will serve as a valuable tool for troubleshooting and auditing. Inventory Sync: To prevent resource mismanagement, we aim to sync inventories real-time between the two platforms. Subscription Management: We'll develop robust mechanisms for managing subscriptions, notably revolving around setup, recurring billing, and cancellations. Refund and Dispute Handling: Clear and firm protocols for managing refunds and disputes will be established, ensuring a smooth potential-issue resolution. Offline Mode: In case of offline services on Square or Tidy, our system will be designed to manage and sync once the connection is restored. Tax Compliance: Given varying regional taxation rules, our integration will adeptly handle differences and accurately apply the correct tax amounts. This feature integration promises to streamline operations, provide better financial visibility, and elevate our customer relationship management. We appreciate your ideas and feedback on this proposed addition!

  12. Discount Codes โ€ข Events, Shop, Memberships

Allow for discount codes to be handed out and used to discount some items for event tickets, memberships or shop items. Apply a promotion code: Give your customers a discount by pre-applying a promotion code. If the promo code expires, the payment link will keep working without the discount.

  13. Photo Gallery Option - Page

Being able to upload bulk photos to a Gallery or slideshow would be great rather than having to add each one as an image to a webpage

  14. Separate/Private Inboxes for Each Role

"Our organisation is large and we deal with a number of commercial clients. We need separate or private inboxes for roles in our organisation as much of the communication that we send or receive in these roles is private or confidential information and thus cannot be shared with the entire committee. Private Inboxes are very hard because of the nature of a committee and the handover required. Outlining how the eventual handover could happen for your organisation is critical for us to know and build out a great solution for you. Please add your comments and scenario below for handover etc

  15. Ability to search emails

There isn't an easy way in the interface to search for a specific email or subject or text within the email. The best you can do is use the CMD+F browser find/search functionality but this often isn't useful if you have pages of emails or years of history. Example being with a club who had to find all correspondence to do with a specific member and spent quite a few hours going through everything page by page.
