Feature Ideas
Submit IdeaBlog / News articles
Similar to events it would be good if you could publish news articles to the home page so that they are easily seen and this accessed by members. It's quite common for websites to have a unified place for blogs or posts, which also stores past page archives. With this feature, we could share past-event recaps directly on our website instead of using external platforms like Facebook. At present, we can only edit past events, which is not the most effective solution. Having a centralized feed for blogs, events, and similar content would be highly beneficial.

Online directory - members can view membership contact info for each member.
It would be helpful to have an online directory module so that general members can reach and view other member's contact info (email address, mobile phone).

Preview mode for Memberships
When setting up memberships for the first time you don't necessarily have Stripe set up yet, so the membership is hidden. It'd also be nice to be able to run through the membership flow including checkout, for assurance.

Events reporting - overview of who attended which events through the year
It's hard to get visibility on which members have attended which events throughout the year, as this information is not really collected in one place. member-by-member doesn't scaleexporting event attendee CSVs isn't that much bettercan export a Contacts view with Groups column but then have to work through that column somehow

Track member attendance via digital membership cards
Basic function within Tidy that stored basic member data when their digital membership card was scanned to enable targeted marketing - ie those who come to games versus those who don't

Microsoft Integration
The ability to integrate with Microsoft Accounts would be of great benefit to clubs with a MS environment. Examples of features that would be great just to name a few. Ability to use Microsoft Teams for Meeting invitations instead of ZoomAbility to integrate with MS SharePoint or other document storage to facilitate collaboration on documents. IE. Volunteer Rosters, a live document to add names/contacts/role assigned for the day as people put their hands up.

More public website customisation options
We're evaluating the platform for our car club and one of the key things we need is a public facing website. The THQ pages do the job functionally, but there seem to be very limited options for styling. e.g. background colour or image, custom CSS (e.g. fonts) It would also be handy to enable custom headers so we can enable things like Google Analytics. I understand that the web page function is probably not "core capability" for the platform, but an easy to maintain site is something our club really needs.

Expose event ticket details to APIs / web hooks
We use Tidy events with custom fields per ticket/order a lot, for pre-ordering meals and giving preferences at functions. Taking a pizza night as an example, we'll have a ticket type to order a whole pizza, and another ticket type to order an individual slice. If a member selects a whole pizza, then we have a custom field on it for them to choose which one of 8 pizzas they want; and other custom fields to say whether they need it gluten free, and whether they want to be in the early sitting or late sitting. We need to extract all that information out to collate lists of pizzas to order for each drop, etc. I do that currently by exporting the event attendees as a CSV (which includes all those custom fields), slicing and dicing the data in a spreadsheet, and then sharing it with the rest of the committee. While that's fine, it's very manual, and it depends on me manually crunching the numbers which can't always happen as often as it needs to. I had planned to use the Tidy APIs to periodically pull the latest ticket data into a Google Sheet to automate the whole process, but this is area seems to be a gap in the current APIs. The Tidy team have confirmed that the ticket information isn't currently available through the webhooks, so really the only way to export it is via the manual send as CSV button. I can imagine that API usage is still fairly limited for many volunteer run clubs, so this request is probably quite niche. But as coding agents and vibe coding become more and more widespread I can imagine many other admins like me would be looking to build something to automate away some of the manual burdens like this.

Share link for folders
We're an association with a committee (set up as admins) plus general members, and our general members need access to a set of files sitting in our TidyHQ Storage. There doesn't seem to be a native way to give general (non-admin) members view access, so at the moment we open every file, copy its share link, and manually link each one into a custom HTML page we built for members, plus a few other workarounds outside TidyHQ. It works, but it's painful to maintain. – CCWA

Files - improving organisation and security
It would be great to be able to rename a file once it is loaded to storage. It would also be useful to be able to set viewing access for different folders to certain roles, rather than the whole storage tab being viewable or not.

Renewal of rolling membership should be based on expiry date, not payment date
I have discovered that Rolling membership renewal date is based on payment date, not expiry date of subscription. This means early payers are penalised by having a shortened membership and late payers are rewarded by an extended membership. If renewal of membership is within the set time for renewal to be allowed then the membership should run from expiry date. Our constitution allows for 5 months non-payment before a member loses membership of the society

There many places where an image or icon can be specified but can't be removed
Everywhere where an image or icon can be used there should be an option to remove that. Some examples are the banner/log on Welcom web page, the icons for groups etc.

Tasks calendar feed
Provide calendar subscriptions (private ICS feeds) that surface tasks with due dates in external calendars like Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. This is a one-way sync: tasks appear in calendars, but remain managed in TidyHQ. Each user gets one or more private calendar feeds: My Tasks assigned to meincompletewith a due date Role Tasks assigned to a Role I hold (e.g. Treasurer)incompletewith a due date 👉 Survives committee turnover and reinforces accountability Following I’m following / watchingincompletewith a due date Each task becomes a calendar event: Title: task name (no prefixes)Date: due date (all-day by default)Description Example: Task: Lodge AGM notice Assigned to: Secretary Project: AGM 2026 Open in TidyHQ: https://... Behaviour Only incomplete tasks are includedWhen a task is completed → it disappears from the calendar (on next refresh)No “[done]” or “[due]” prefixes — avoids stale or misleading data due to calendar caching Permissions Feeds are user-specific and privateOnly include tasks the user already has access toRole feeds update automatically when roles change What this is not Not a two-way sync (calendar edits don’t update tasks). This isn't really possible at present anyway. Not a replacement for task managementNot a full project/calendar merge

Allow product discounts for selected Groups
Many clubs sell merchandise to members at a discount to the public price. Allow Tidy HQ Shop Products to be configured for a discount for Groups
