Submit IdeaTidy Integration with Square Payment Gateway and POS
We're proposing a new feature integration with Square payment gateway and Point of Sales (POS) system for Tidy. This would allow for seamless transactions and contact synchronisation, enhancing our operational efficiency and overall customer experience. Key Considerations: Transaction Sync: We aim to introduce real-time synchronization of transactions between Tidy and Square, contributing to better accuracy and effectiveness. Contact Sync: Matching transactions with contacts where possible will enable us to generate comprehensive customer profiles and strategize follow-up activities accordingly. Advanced CRM to POS Synergy: By aligning the integration with advanced CRM to POS dynamics (akin to platforms like Xero), we'll be able to deliver a superior user experience. Creation of Payment Logs: We plan to maintain detailed logs for each transaction. This addition will serve as a valuable tool for troubleshooting and auditing. Inventory Sync: To prevent resource mismanagement, we aim to sync inventories real-time between the two platforms. Subscription Management: We'll develop robust mechanisms for managing subscriptions, notably revolving around setup, recurring billing, and cancellations. Refund and Dispute Handling: Clear and firm protocols for managing refunds and disputes will be established, ensuring a smooth potential-issue resolution. Offline Mode: In case of offline services on Square or Tidy, our system will be designed to manage and sync once the connection is restored. Tax Compliance: Given varying regional taxation rules, our integration will adeptly handle differences and accurately apply the correct tax amounts. This feature integration promises to streamline operations, provide better financial visibility, and elevate our customer relationship management. Ability to search emails
There isn't an easy way in the interface to search for a specific email or subject or text within the email. The best you can do is use the CMD+F browser find/search functionality but this often isn't useful if you have pages of emails or years of history. Example being with a club who had to find all correspondence to do with a specific member and spent quite a few hours going through everything page by page.

Auto update a members age and years of membership
Our club needs to know at a glance a members age as juniors and Adults are billed differently. We also need to know how long a member has been with the club ( ie current date minus date of joining) as we present awards at AGM for years of service. Finally we need to keep track of our association membership expiry dates and be alerted if a member hasnβt renewed their assisting membership. I know itβs a throwback to excel ( which I still must use) but would configurable custom fields that can perform simple customizable date calculations be possible (ie this date less that date or is todays date after this pre-entered date etc )

The feature to filter by relationship, where relationship is βchildβ to create a smart group, rather than manually having to interrogate every record and filter. This would help with players communications in pre-season, and recruiting which is one of the key reasons we were also looking to tidyHq to assist with.

Hide/disable Contact fields
There are a lot of Contact fields on the Contact Profile edit page that we don't want to collect from our members (for example, Gender, DoB, and social media profile URLs). In some cases, obtaining this extra PII could have privacy implications that we don't need or want. Currently if we ask one of our members to go to their Contact Profile and update it, it could be interpreted as if our organisation is asking for all this information. Could there please be organisation settings to disable profile data that we don't want to collect? i.e. disabled fields would then not show up on the Contact Profile page for members.

Archive emails under categories (or subjects or subfolders)
We currently have more than 3,000 emails in our inbox. Being able to categorise emails when archiving them (under Communication) would enable easier access if we need to find a particular conversation thread or an issue previously discussed via email. Email communications are part of the historical governance of an association and therefore some emails have to be stored. Allowing easier ways to find archived emails without having to search through the inbox would make life a lot easier. We change committee members each year and new people have to learn TidyHQ. These new committee members may not have the historical knowledge of our association. Having an easier way to find archived emails would help immensely and improve workflow. Currently, archiving emails does not allow for categorisation of each email for each of access. Thank you. Looking forward to having this option made available in TidyHQ.

Accreditation Management Module
This feature aims to streamline the process of tracking and managing various certifications and accreditations. The proposed module will serve as a comprehensive tool to keep a record of all your accreditations, such as working with children checks, first aid certifications, officiating and coaching certifications, and more. It will provide detailed information on each accreditation, including what was involved in the process, and when each item is due to expire and allow links out to the relevant course that was taken to achieve the module. Save the selected Display fields for Smart Groups
The smart group feature is very useful as a method of exporting a filtered list of contacts that meet a set criteria as a csv file for use in a mail merge or other automated process. The problem is that when I open a smart group I have created the displayed fields reset back to the default selection of Contact, ID, Email and other groups. I need to open the display fields each time and select the additional fields like address or first name last name I want in the export. It would be great if when I save a Smart Group I could also save the fields I would like displayed/exported each time I use it.

Suspend a membership
A member needs to be suspended from their membership for a specific period of time. i.e. 2 weeks.In that time we want them to be seen as not an active member.We want the option to extend or not extend their end membership date.We want to restrict them from purchasing any other membership in this suspended time.

set an email reply to address
It would be great to have a way to add a reply-to email to email when sending these off as sometimes you send one off but need to go back to a different email group but it only goes back to you which makes it a bit of a pain as that group then doesnt get to respond to the email.

Discount Codes β’ Events, Shop, Memberships
Allow for discount codes to be handed out and used to discount some items for event tickets, memberships or shop items. Apply a promotion code: Give your customers a discount by pre-applying a promotion code. If the promo code expires, the payment link will keep working without the discount.

Being able to upload bulk photos to a Gallery or slideshow would be great rather than having to add each one as an image to a webpage

Separate/Private Inboxes for Each Role
"Our organisation is large and we deal with a number of commercial clients. We need separate or private inboxes for roles in our organisation as much of the communication that we send or receive in these roles is private or confidential information and thus cannot be shared with the entire committee. Private Inboxes are very hard because of the nature of a committee and the handover required. Outlining how the eventual handover could happen for your organisation is critical for us to know and build out a great solution for you. Please add your comments and scenario below for handover etc
